PhotoBin was founded on the simple premise that photos make the world a better place. Born from a very personal photo story, PhotoBin is committed to changing the photo lovers' landscape and helping photo takers everywhere enjoy, share, preserve and have fun with their photos and memories.
The PhotoBin team is flat out photo crazy. At PhotoBin, a good day means we've solved a photo problem for a customer, uncovered a new product or service to make life easier, and delighted a photo taker with a long-forgotten shot.

Steve Weber
Founder & CEO
Steve Weber founded PhotoBin, a division of Z58, Inc., with the dream to combine his passion for photography with his success, knowledge and know-how in building start-up Internet companies. Steve’s entrepreneurial experience spans over 25 years, with the last 16 years in the Internet industry. In 1998, Steve started Z57 Internet Solutions, and led the company from start up to a being national leader in Internet marketing services for the real estate industry. Z57, twice recognized as an Inc. 5000 company, was also recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as San Diego's largest web development firm for eight consecutive years. After leading the dynamic growth of the company for 14 years, in 2012, Steve sold Z57 to Constellation Software Inc., a public company based in Toronto.
Steve has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego Business Journal, and bizSanDiego Magazine. With PhotoBin, Steve leverages his passion for photography with his technology, financial, marketing and operational experience into one of the fastest growing segments of the Internet.
Matt Weiss
Vice President
Matt Weiss has been successfully growing software technology companies for the past 14 years. With his broad operational background Weiss has played an integral part in helping take two technology start-ups to acquisition. At Foundstone, Weiss helped grow the company from five to almost 100 employees before the company was acquired by McAfee. Weiss joined his second start-up, Bitfone, as the 26th employee. He helped drive Bitfone’s growth to almost 200 employees with offices in six countries before it was acquired by Hewlett-Packard.
Having conducted business in North America, Australia, Europe and Asia Weiss is well practiced at building and managing operational teams.
Hannah Blum
Director, Marketing & Ecommerce
Hannah Blum joined PhotoBin in October of 2012 with 15+ years of Marketing and ecommerce experience. She mostly recently worked at Provide Commerce, the parent company of many successful ecommerce brands including ProFlowers, RedEnvelope, Shari’s Berries, Gifts.com and others. During her tenure at Provide Commerce, Hannah was responsible for acquisition marketing, partnerships, strategy, corporate development and website optimization including the launch of four mobile-optimized sites. Over her 10 years at Provide Commerce, Hannah developed a passion for extraordinary user experience, testing and analytics which was used to catapult Provide Commerce to over 500% growth and continues to be one of the Internet’s best converting websites.
Hannah was excited to get back to her start-up roots and grow the retail side of PhotoBin’s business while building a world-class experience for both customers and partners.
Nick Oriti
Director of Finance
Nick Oriti joined PhotoBin in 2013, bringing over 13 years of experience to the Finance team. Nick has a very broad range of skills, having worked in all arenas of the Finance and Accounting world.
Nick most recently worked for a much larger company, FICO, where he gained a great amount of experience working in the software Industry. However, his passion lies in the excitement that a startup can bring. In fact, Nick previously worked for Steve Weber at Z57, Internet Solutions and successfully grew the Finance department from the ground up. Nick enjoys being able to take an idea and turn it into a tangible Financial Model that directly impacts the direction the company is headed. Nick is very excited to be a part of the PhotoBin team.
