Photobook
Q: I cannot add my PhotoBook to my shopping cart
A: Your PhotoBook will not add to your cart until ALL pages within the PhotoBook have been completed. Please go to your "Open Projects" and ensure each page has a photo or text box on that page. Once you complete this process, you will be able to review your PhotoBook and add it to your cart.
Q: My Voucher/Coupon will not add to my total
A: Please allow 1 business day from the time of purchase prior to applying your voucher code to your shopping cart total. If it has been more than 1 business day since your purchase, please email your voucher code or coupon code to CS@photobin.com and we will ensure your code is working properly.
Q: I am being charged tax on my PhotoBin order
A: Applicable tax may be applied to your order including applicable shipping costs. Tax is not associated with any coupon or voucher code. You will be responsible to pay any costs associated with sales tax for the total cost of the sale.
Q: How can I rotate my pictures on your website
A: Use the drag and drop method throughout the process of creating your PhotoBook. Once you add a photo, click on it and use the circular arrow to move the photo in a rotating motion to your desire. If you wish to replace the photo, simply drag a new photo on top of the old one to replace it.
Q: My pictures will not fit within the PhotoBook
A: Ensure your photo is not bigger than the book itself. If your book is 8.75X12, your photo and size are limited to the dimensions within this parameter. You may readjust the size of your photo(s) using the software product of your choice.
Q: Why can't I locate my PhotoBook after I saved it?
A: When creating your PhotoBook, ensure you save it prior to leaving the PhotoBook processing page. Name the project and to recall it, select "Saved Projects" from the top right of the website. Once you select "Saved Projects" select "Open Project" and you will see the options of the PhotoBooks you have created. You may now edit, save or add your PhotoBook to your shopping cart.
Q: My Shipping cost is not accurate. What can I do?
A: Before checking out, you will see an "Estimate Shipping and Tax" area below your shopping cart, under the voucher box. To receive an estimate of your shipping cost, input your location details here. If for some reason your shipping cost estimate is incorrect or does not match with what your voucher states please email support@photobin.com for help.
Q: May I combine orders and voucher codes
A: Yes and No. You may combine orders but you will need to create a separate order for each voucher or coupon code you have. This will generate applicable shipping and sales tax for each item. Once you have generated order numbers, you may write each order number on the inside flap of box you are sending us to process your order. All shipping is based on a flat rate and is processed for 3 way shipping.
Q: Can you change the layout for PhotoBooks?
A: You may do this, however, this process may change the outline of the work you have just produced. It is recommended that you select the style, look and feel of your book prior to completing the process.
Q: How long does it take to get my order?
A: Normal-processing time is 3-5 business days within the US. Any orders shipped outside of the US are subjected to wait times in Customs. If your order has been shipped outside of the US, please check the processing times with Customs surrounding your normal shipping methods and turn around times.

Video Conversion
Q: What type of video conversions do you offer?
A: PhotoBin converts all non-copyright material for popular home movie tapes – MiniDV, VHS, VHS-C and Hi8. Turnaround time is approximately three weeks.
Q: My Voucher/Coupon will not add to my total.
A: Please allow 1 business day from the time of purchase prior to applying your voucher code to your shopping cart total. If it has been more than 1 business day since your purchase, please email your voucher code or coupon code to CS@photobin.com and we will ensure your code is working properly.
Q: I am being charged tax on my PhotoBin order?

Q: How many DVD's will I get with my order?
A: For each VHS or Video you send to PhotoBin, you will obtain 1 DVD. If you would like additional DVD's you will need to advise that at time of your order with an associated cost of $9.99 USD per DVD disc.
Q: May I request Express Service?
A: Yes, with up to 24 videos within one order, you may pay an additional $25.00 USD within one order to express your order from 3 weeks to 3-5 business days.
Q: Why do I have to pay for shipping on each order?
A: All orders are considered separate orders. You will receive a shipping label for each order you submit. Shipping is based on a flat dollar and would be the same if in one or multiple boxes.
Q: My Shipping cost is not accurate. What can I do?

A: Currently PhotoBin does not offer film conversion but, we ask that you check back with us regarding this service in the early part of 2012.
Q: How long does it take to get my order?

Photo Scanning
Q: What type of Photo Resolution do you offer?
A: The default scanning resolution for the 400 photo scanning package is300 DPI. You can upgrade to 600 DPI for an additional $25 when you place your order. However, if you choose the 1000 photo scan package then the 600 DPI is included.
Q: My Voucher/Coupon will not add to my total
A: Please allow 1 to 2 business days from the time of purchase prior to applying your voucher code to your shopping cart total. If it has been more than 2 business days since your purchase, please email your voucher code or coupon code to CS@photobin.com and we will ensure your code is working properly.
Q: How Do I add photos to my PhotoBin account?
A: You may upload photos to your PhotoBin account after you create a username and password. The first initial year is free, allowing you to upload 1000 photos. Subscriptions range from $19.99 to $39.99 per year.
Q: What size photos may I submit for scanning?
A: If you purchase the 400 package, you may send photos from 3x3 up to 5x7, if you select to purchase the 1000 package, you may send photos from 3x3 up to 8x10.
Q: How do I package my photos?
A: You will package your photos in the box you provide to ship to PhotoBin, you should sort them from smallest to largest and you may sort by event or timeline. Separating the photos can be done with index cards, rubber bands and or bags.
Q: Why do I have to pay shipping on each order?
A: Shipping is separate and the cost is required by the cost associated with the voucher.
Q: My pictures are precious to me. How do I know I will get them back?
A: PhotoBin takes extreme caution in each order we receive. You will obtain an order and shipping confirmation once your project has been processed and completed by PhotoBin.

Photo Negatives
Q: May I buy a voucher for negatives?
A: Yes, you may go to http://www.photobin.com/dailydeals and review the current deal we have in production for our product.
Q: How do I apply my voucher toward my order?
A: At the top of the page, you will see "Shop" once there, go to scanning and select Photo Negative and select which photo negative package you'd like, add it to your cart then input the voucher number toward the middle of the page.
Q: How many negatives may I send in with an order?
A: Currently we have two packages you may choose from. You can select the 200 or 400 pack. Pricing can be located under "Shop" then under "Photo Negative".
Q: What size negatives do you accept?
A: PhotoBin accepts 35mm (also referred to as 135) and APS photo negatives.
Q: How do you return the negatives to me?
A: Your photo negatives, DVD, CD and/or prints will be carefully returned to you with care packaged in a PhotoBin box.
Q: What size prints can I get with my negatives?
A: You may order prints up to 5x7 maximizing to prints up to 16x24 but sizes and quality will be dependent on actual negatives sent to PhotoBin.

Q: What size prints can I get with my slides?

Q: Can I get an extension on my voucher?
A: Absolutely, we know it takes time to get your projects together for a perfect PhotoBin project. Please reach out to CS@photobin.com and provide the voucher or coupon code, advise how long you need and we will extend the voucher for as long as we can to accommodate your need.
Q: Can I combine shipping with the use of my voucher?
A: Shipping is at time included with the cost of the voucher, based on the deal in which you have purchased. However, there are times where you will need to pay for express or standard shipping outside the cost of the voucher itself. Once you are at the checkout at photobin.com, you will be prompted to provide your method of payment for your PhotoBin order.

A: Please contact CS@photobin.com and we will be happy to extend the life of the voucher for you so that you may use it at checkout while at photobin.com.
